In response to several inquiries... my fraternal grandmother - "Granny Wiggins" made the quilt behind me. I'm lucky to have a number of folk art items made by long deceased family members. A framed piece of metal that Rae's great grandmother pounded with a nail to create the image of a ox pulling a plow through a field, easily as lovely as many famous pointillist paintings I’ve seen. A small flute that my maternal grandfather made from the bamboo growing in his backyard. Placemats that Rae's grandmother made by weaving together the pine needles that had fallen in her yard. A walking stick that my brother-in-law carved. All so incredible. But I digress.... Yes... contact information... I'm always delighted to hear from friends, both known and unknown.
